Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Autopilot Systems' websites, software, and services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Services.

1. Who We Are

"Autopilot Systems" refers to Autopilot Systems, located at 517 W Figueroa Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101. You can reach us at shaun@autopilotsystems.org or (805) 475-9208.

2. The Services

We provide AI automation, customer relationship management (CRM) configuration, AI receptionist services, custom dashboards, and related consulting for small and mid-sized service businesses. Specific deliverables, pricing, and timelines are described in the proposal, order form, or subscription plan you agree to.

3. Your Account

You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at shaun@autopilotsystems.org if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable Use

When using the Services, you agree not to:

5. SMS and Telephone Communications

Some of our Services involve sending and receiving SMS, MMS, and voice communications on your behalf. You represent and warrant that:

You are solely responsible for the content of any messages sent through the Services. Autopilot Systems is not a party to communications between you and your recipients.

6. Subscriptions, Fees, and Payment

If you subscribe to a paid plan, you authorize us (or our payment processor, Stripe) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the price disclosed at signup, until you cancel. Subscriptions renew automatically. We may change pricing for future billing periods with at least 30 days' written notice.

All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or expressly stated in a written agreement. If a payment fails, we may suspend the Services until payment is resolved.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel a subscription at any time by contacting us at shaun@autopilotsystems.org. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you'll retain access through the period you've already paid for. No prorated refunds for partial periods.

8. Intellectual Property

The Services, including our software, configurations, templates, and brand assets, are owned by Autopilot Systems and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for your business while your subscription is active. You retain ownership of your content, data, and customer information you provide to us.

9. Third-Party Services

We use third-party platforms to deliver the Services, including (without limitation) HighLevel, Stripe, Twilio, Vapi, Make.com, and Anthropic. Your use of the Services is also subject to the terms of those platforms. We don't control and aren't responsible for third-party services, but we choose them carefully.

10. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, except as required by law. We don't guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce specific business results.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Autopilot Systems' total liability arising from or related to the Services will not exceed the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Autopilot Systems against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights — including but not limited to claims arising from messages sent through the Services without proper consent.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for breach of these Terms, including violations of Section 4 (Acceptable Use) or Section 5 (SMS Communications). Sections 8, 10, 11, 12, and 14 survive termination.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Santa Barbara County, California.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by email or through the Services at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
